If you were dreaming of a white Christmas you’re in luck,
Snow starts tonight in the southwestern region of the island, spreading to the Avalon by tomorrow morning, with most of the island seeing 10-15 cm.
Environment Canada meteorologist Allison Sheppard says the Avalon is going to see the brunt of it, and if you’re travelling over the next few days, things might get tricky.
Shepherd the heaviest snow will be through the day tomorrow, amounting to around 15 cm on the Avalon.
The snow will be basically finished by Christmas morning, but high winds will continue throughout the day.
