A woman from Makinsons got an early start to her Tibb’s Eve celebrations and drove off the road.

RCMP in Bay Roberts responded to a single vehicle accident on Roaches Line early Monday evening.

A 32-year-old woman had driven into the woods and police discovered she was impaired.

She was arrested for impaired driving, her license was suspended and vehicle impounded.

She was released and will appear in court at a later date.
