The mental health and addictions clinic is up and running on Bell Island with great success.
Health Minister John Haggie says there are a number of people who have identified they would like treatment and have started on the program.
He says it’s now slowly working its way through those who were on the island but would cross the tickle on a daily basis for services to bring them into the Bell Island group.
Haggie says the mental health and addictions program has received numerous positive reviews from the advocacy groups on Bell Island who met with him in early 2019.
