The successful gathering of women leaders in municipal politics across the province is something Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador is hoping to repeat in years to come.
This past November, MNL hosted the Women Leadership Summit, the first ever gathering of its kind in the province.
Sheilagh O’Leary was at the conference and calls it a great experience.
She calls it “fantastic” to see so many women leaders gather to discuss municipal politics, and believes the summit will continue to grow in the future.
