There were no serious injuries after a DRL bus went off the road near Stephenville on Wednesday.
Jason Roberts, the manager of DRL Coachlines based out of Triton says the bus blew off the road when a strong gust of wind came across the highway.
He says it was a combination of icy roads and a big puff of wind. The driver was only driving at about 15 km/h when the bus was laid out on its side, claims Roberts.
The driver and attendant did receive some very minor injuries, but nothing significant according to Roberts.
The coach was not damaged, and is up and on the way back to the shop in Triton for inspection before it goes back in service.
