A Nova Scotia man has been arrested following a firearms incident in Renews.
Early yesterday morning, RCMP received reports that a man was firing shots into the air and at an occupied vehicle outside a home in the community.
Police arrested 50-year-old Daren Louis Marinelli as he was returning to the scene in his pickup truck.
A loaded rifle was seized from the front seat the truck.
Marinelli is facing numerous charges in relation to the incident, with more charges possible.
A bail hearing for the accused will take place today.
