A group of pee-wee hockey players from the A&W team are looking to keep the good will of the holiday season going with the Good Deeds Cup.
The event is a national competition for pee-wee hockey teams that challenges them to go out and do good things in their communities.
Some of what the team has done thus far includes giving food to the homeless, caroling for seniors, and helping out with Christmas hampers.
As well, earlier today they held a skate-a-thon at the Mount Pearl Glacier, with proceeds going towards the Jack Hand Foundation
Rory Macpherson is a a parent of one of the players, he says the team has been keeping very busy. They have been “nonstop” with their activities, and it is evident that all the kids love to help.
The children themselves are more then happy to help make a difference. They all share the same sentiment that they want to do good and make people happy.
