Government has an essential role in helping to nurture the province’s tech sector.

NATI CEO Paul Preston says the provincial and federal governments already have programs in place aimed at building the local tech sector.

He says government has to create an environment that will enable business and good ideas to flow.

ACOA and TCII both offer funding programs and supports to help companies scale and grow – something he calls “critically important.”
