A game of hide and seek with police ended with some hefty charges for a pair of St. John’s teens.
RNC officers responded to a disturbance on Queens Road around 8:30 last night. After a brief investigation they discovered a 17-year-old girl hiding in a closet. Upon discovery she attacked, striking one of the officers in the face.
They attempted to leave the home with the teen when another person, an 18-year-old boy, tried to stop them, also attacking the RNC officers.
Both teens were arrested and charged with assaulting police officers and breaches.
They were held for court.
