The editor of the Independent is on a personal campaign to make Twitter a friendlier place to be.

Drew Brown indicates he’s fed up with troll accounts created to shock and heap abuse on others after a recent online encounter of his own.

Brown, who is an avid Twitter user, says it got personal when an anonymous account set its sights on him.

“Enough is enough” says Brown who believes no-one should have to tolerate abusive behaviour.

Brown is calling out such behaviour, and abusers who hide behind anonymous accounts. He says he just wants abusers out of public spaces.
