Two more people, driving at rates well above the posted speed limit were taken off the highway this week by RCMP Traffic Services.
Police say a 48-year-old Gander man was captured on radar driving at speeds of up to 165 km/h on the TCH near Hodgewater Line around noon on Tuesday.
A 28-year-old Conne River man was pulled over on the TCH near Middle Gull Pond Tuesday afternoon. Police say he was caught on radar driving at up to 152 km/h.
Both men had their licences suspended and received what police call “hefty” speeding tickets.
