Most of the outages affect the metro region, but there are also outages in Conception Bay North and on the Burin Peninsula.
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro says the isolated area of Gaultois on the south coast is without power and that crews are unable to do anything before morning.
If storm-related outages occur, please be prepared. Unfortunately, it is likely you will be without power into tomorrow. Our crews are ready to respond when conditions improve. Thank you for your support & understanding as our crews work to safely restore power during this storm.
