Snow clearing operations will be hampered tonight by yet another dumping of snow, albeit not near as much as Friday’s record breaking system.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for much of central Newfoundland, and blowing snow warnings for the eastern half of the island, including the metro area.
Most areas will see between 10 and 15 cm by tomorrow morning, with more possible in some localized areas. Winds will also be a factor, with winds gusting to about 80 km/h.
This all comes on top of the record breaking snowfall on Friday, which has prompted a states of emergency in several municipalities.
