The City of St. John’s is asking some residents in the downtown to move their vehicles for snow clearing purposes.
City plows are working to remove snow on Prescott Street, Bond Street and Gower Street today.
The St. Johns Convention Centre has opened it’s parking garage for downtown resident as snow clearing continues.
The City says to effectively remove snow, parked cars must be removed and residents are urged to clean and remove their vehicles.
Vehicles can temporarily park on Water Street, Duckworth Street, Harbour Drive and New Gower Street, that were all cleared overnight.
The City says additional residential streets will be added as snow removal operations progress.
