The owner of Car Fix in St. John’s says people should be checking underneath their hood before starting up their vehicles after heavy snowfalls.
Gary Ball says snow can find its way into places in and around engines and cause all sorts of issues.
It’s the same as having to make sure your dryer vent is open in your house—the same thing applies to your vehicle.
Ball says checking your engine, muffler and removing the snow from the roof of your car are all priorities after heavy snowfalls.
