Lisa Sharpe and her son Matthew got a pleasant surprise yesterday when the military came calling in response to a social media post.
Lisa’s seven year old son has cerebral palsy and even though he has mobility challenges, he wanted to go outside to help clear up the snow.
His mom says he cried every day, wanting to go outside to help, but she was afraid he’d get hurt because he uses a walker.
That’s when the military stepped in; they came to her door and brightened up Matthew’s day.
She says they came into the house and gave Matthew a hat, stickers and tattoos – putting a big smile on Matthew’s face.
