All is not cut and dried when it comes to schools, especially in St. John’s, Monday morning.

The English School District is “cautiously optimistic” that schools will be able to reopen, but says some in St. John’s may not. They will have an update Sunday afternoon.

District CEO Tony Stack says it cannot account for every conceivable, personal circumstance and that families are in the best position to judge whether a student can travel safely to and from school and bus stops.

There is a possibility that some bus routes will be temporarily adjusted because of narrow streets.

If changes are made, they will be posted online on Sunday on a special student transportation web page, accessible through www.nlesd.ca
