The Newfoundland Growlers bounced back to their winning ways last night with a 3-1 victory over the Reading Royals.
The Growlers entered the second period with a 2-0 lead.
The Royals responded in the second on the power play. They pulled their goalie in the third and Zach O’Brien added an empty net goal to secure a 3-1 victory.
The Growlers continue their road trip tonight as they head to Ontario to take on the Brampton Beast. Puck drop is 5:30 p.m. NL time.
