Snow shoveling was the most common form of exercise during the state of emergency.
For people who go to the gym every day or are regular runners or hikers it’s certainly been a disruption to their routine.
Mountain climber, outdoor enthusiast and MUN Professor, Dr. TA Loeffler, says getting back into the swing of things after a storm can be difficult.
She says once the cities open the winter activity centres, hopefully there will be a chance to get out and enjoy the snow everyone has been cursing.
Getting rid of the storm snacking can also take some adjusting, says Loeffler. She says it is easy to get into the storm diet but once people get to the grocery store, they should firstly stock up on fresh or frozen veggies.
