A hockey team from Newfoundland and Labrador has made it to the list of 11 finalists for Chevrolet’s Good Deeds Cup.
The Northeast Eagles PeeWee C All Stars raised $21,500 for the Rainbow Riders—a therapeutic riding centre that helps children with physical, mental and cognitive disabilities.
Communications director for Rainbow Riders, Charlotte Ackerman, says the team now needs the public’s help in reaching the final three.
She says you can help by watching the video posted by Chevrolet Canada Good Deeds Cup, as each view counts as a vote.
If the team wins, they’ll be bringing home another $100,000 for Rainbow Riders.
