Over half of the capital city has been cleared out since the massive snowfall that pummeled the region over a week ago.
Mayor of St. John’s, Danny Breen says city crews have cleared out between 50 and 60 per cent of city streets, and have dumped about 5,000 dump trucks full of snow into the harbour.
He notes there is still a lot of work to do, however, and that the city is not out of the woods yet.
He says there is still a lot of work to do in order to get the city back to normal.
