The provincial government has announced the details of a financial assistance package for damage caused by the January 17 snowstorm.
Application and information sheets for the NL Disaster Financial Assistance Program are available online at the link below.
The package is not related to lost wages.
Compensation for damages caused by Snowmaggedon will be based on criteria established by both the federal and provincial disaster financial assistance programs.
Applications can be made by homeowners, small businesses, communities and non-profit organizations.
