Get ready for another bout of snow, but hopefully not for long.
Alex Kaminski of Environment Canada says somewhere between 5-15 cm of snow is predicted for the Avalon this Sunday afternoon.
The good news is warmer temperatures are following close behind, with the snow turning to rain fairly quickly. But then the winds are coming.
He says we will get a brief shot of snow turning to rain, and quite strong southerly winds, but Monday the temperatures will drop again and it’s possible the southern Avalon and Burin will be in wind-warning territory.
