The Henry Goodrich has arrived at the Bull Arm Fabrication site after wrapping up its work in the West White Rose oil field last week.
The semi-submersible rig, operated by Transocean, was on a two-year contract with Husky Energy.
According to the lease agreement, which is set to expire in late spring 2021, the rig will be cold-stacked at the Bull Arm site.

Nalcor officials say the agreement includes the construction of additional mooring points, increasing the site’s berthage capacity.
Nalcor indicates this work will bolster Bull Arm Fabrication’s capacity for future work on offshore rigs.
This is the first time two rigs have been hosted at the site simultaneously, as work is currently underway on the Transocean Barents.
