A 61-year-old Stephenville cab driver was pulled over for impaired driving this morning while driving a student to school.
RCMP received a report of a suspected impaired driver operating a cab around 8:00, Friday morning.
Police say it turns out the driver was taking a student to school at the time. Police say a roadside breath test showed results above the provincial limit.
The driver was issued a seven-day driver’s licence suspension and his cab was seized and impounded.
