A daycare in Kilbride had to close for the day on Friday after a project in the oven didn’t work out as planned.
The experiment caused smoke to pour out of the oven and subsequently caused the daycare to shut down for the remainder of the day.
Platoon Chief Bob Hiscock was one of the firefighters on the scene.
Hiscock says when they arrived the six babies, six toddlers and seven older children had already been removed from the building.
