Not everyone who has had their vehicle stolen goes on to see someone casually driving it down the road in front of them, but that’s what happened last night.

Just before midnight the RNC got the call that the victims of a previous vehicle theft had spotted it on Portugal Cove Road.

Officers caught up with the driver while they were parked at a business in the area only to discover it was a 16-year-old boy, not only driving a stolen vehicle but in breach of court order and curfew. Further charges were placed against the passenger, a 13-year-old boy, also for breaching court orders.

They were held for court.
