A few minutes clearing your car of snow and ice could end up saving a life. That’s the message from police after a startling incident earlier this week.
On Monday, Clarenville RCMP responded to a call that a truck was severely damaged by icy debris flung from a passing vehicle.
The truck’s windshield was smashed—causing a costly repair—but thankfully no one was injured.
The RCMP states that it’s not only an important safety reminder, but clearing snow and ice from your vehicle is the law.
