The province’s very first opera album is in the process of being recorded.
Internationally-renowned Newfoundland tenor David Pomeroy is recording his debut opera album this week with members of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra.

The production team on the recording, which is taking place at MUN’s D.F. Cook Recital Hall, includes Grammy and Juno award-winning producer Denise Ball and classical music sound engineers Brian Chan and Teremy Tusz.
Pomeroy is back in St. John’s after enjoying a 20-year career that has taken him around the globe.
The album is scheduled for release in September.
