Two of the potential frontrunners for Liberal leader have already passed on contention.
VOCM News confirms the province’s Natural Resources Minister, Siobhan Coady will not be seeking the leadership of the provincial Liberal party. As well, Justice Minister Andrew Parsons will not be running for the Liberal leadership.
Parsons took to Twitter to make his announcement this morning.
Thank you to all those who have reached out in the last 24 hours. Serving the people of the province is a truly rewarding job, however, my family continues to deal with a medical issue & I simply cannot devote my time to a leadership run. Thank you for your continued support.
