NAPE has ratified new collective agreements with 24 home and youth care agencies in the province.
The agreements include wage increases and improvements to contract language according to the union.
According to information from NAPE, the agreements cover over 4,000 workers across the province. Workers voted 89 per cent in favour of accepting the agreement.
Talks are continuing with Caregivers Inc – Blue Sky. As such, specific details will not be released until that process is complete.
