Hospitality NL handed out its Tourism Excellence Awards as it wrapped up its annual Conference and Trade Show in Corner Brook last night.
Bonne Bay Inn and Seaside Suites was named the H. Clayton Sparkes Accommodator Award of Excellence, Rafting Newfoundland took home the CBDC Tourism Business Award of Excellence, and Tour Gros Morne picked up the BDC Tourism Innovator Award.
The Tourism Champion Award went to David Hayashida and Linda Yates of King’s Point Pottery, Tourisme Saint Pierre et Miquelon received the Corporate Partner Award, and The Bell Island Community Museum and Number 2 Mine Tour was honoured with the Cultural Tourism Award.
The Inn at Happy Adventure received the Bed and Breakfast Award of Excellence, Two Whales Coffee Shop got the Parks Canada Sustainable Tourism Award while Adventure Canada took the Cruise Vision Award.
Incoming Chair Steve Denty commends each and every award winner for their contribution to the province’s tourism industry.
