A member of a team competing in Cain’s Quest had to be airlifted for medical attention following an accident near Hopedale this morning.
Cain’s Quest confirmed that a member of Team Bernice—consisting of Innu Grand Chief Gregory Rich and his nephew Bryan Rich—was taken to a clinic in Hopedale for treatment.

In a post to Facebook, Grand Chief Rich confirms that Bryan was alert and talking, and will be taken to Goose Bay for further examination.
The extent of the injuries is unknown.
