Eight officials from a provincial government department who recently attended a conference in Toronto are in self-isolation.
A person from elsewhere, who was at the same conference, has tested positive for COVID-19. Neither the Minister nor the Deputy Minister were at the event; the”Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Convention.”
As precaution, all officials called 811 and are now at home in self-isolation. Employees of the department have been provided with guidelines on COVID-19.
