The 2020 JUNO Awards have been cancelled due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.
Event organizers issued a statement Thursday afternoon that “with an incredibly heavy heart” they have decided to cancel all activities surrounding the JUNOs in Saskatoon.

Organizers state that the health, safety and well-being of Canadians must remain at the forefront, as the situation around COVID-19 continues to rapidly evolve.
They urge everyone to follow guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.
Four musicians from Newfoundland and Labrador were nominated for this year’s awards: Tim Baker, Peter Barrett, Matt Maher, and Bekah Simms.
Officials indicate they will explore other options to honour this year’s award recipients.
