A couple from Ontario is facing a number of charges after police found a large amount of drugs in their vehicle after they crashed on the Trans Canada Highway near South Brook Sunday night.
A 40-year-old woman and 56-year-old man were travelling on the highway east of South Brook when their car left the road.
When police arrived they discovered the two occupants were in possession of drugs.
They were brought to the detachment where officers issues a warrant to search the car.
Upon their search they found quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, psilocybin, marijuana, opiate prescription pills, unstamped tobacco, counterfeit money and a stun gun.
They are facing five drug charges each plus charges for possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of a court order.
