Metro area police arrested a driver last night who was prohibited from driving Canada-wide, and who was found to be owing over $20,000 in fines.
RNC pulled the 25-year-old man over around 8:30 yesterday morning in Conception Bay South.
In addition to the hefty bill for the outstanding fines, the driver was also charged with driving an unrgistered vehicle with no insurance and a suspended license.
The vehicle was impounded and the man was held for court.
