A man from Nain is facing numerous firearms offences following a disturbance in the community Thursday afternoon.
52-year-old Edward Sillitt was charged with uttering threats in addition to careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm and unsafe storage of firearms.
The accused was arrested without incident.
Police say all firearms inside the man’s home were seized for public safety.
Silllit is being held in custody pending a court appearance on Tuesday, March 17th.
Other charges are pending.
