The Minister of Transportation and Works has cut his vacation in the United States short due to the concerns over COVID-19.
Minister Steve Crocker and his wife left for Florida on Thursday afternoon.
In a post to Facebook, Crocker says they departed before health officials advised that anyone who traveled internationally would have to self isolate for 14 days. He apologized for his decision.
He says he will be working from home for the 14 days and they hope to be home as soon as possible.
