Quinlan Brothers has decided to sell its interests in the company to Royal Greenland A/S following government approval of the processing license transfer and due diligence.
The sale is planned to close later this year after the end of the processing season.
In a release issued late Friday, Quinlan Brothers says it is the intention of the shareholders and Royal Greenland to maintain the legacy of Quinlan Brothers Limited.
President Robin Quinlan will continue with the company managing the business. The release says the transition of ownership will ensure the company’s management, employees, suppliers and customers are served as they have been in the past.
Quinlan Brothers currently operates three processing plants located in Bay de Verde, Old Perlican, and Baie Verte.
