A 50 year old Sheshatshiu man was arrested twice in one week for cocaine trafficking.
RCMP say Frederick Osmond was first arrested March 9th in Happy Valley-Goose Bay following a traffic stop. The accused was found driving with a suspended licence.
When police seized the vehicle, they discovered a quantity of cocaine and over $4700 dollars in cash.
Six days later on March 15th Osmond was found by police driving another vehicle. According to police, when they attempted to pull the vehicle over, Osmond fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later.
He was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine, and was arrested.
He faces numerous charges including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, resisting arrest, and driving while suspended.
