Gas prices in the province may be continuing their steep decline this week.
According to George Murphy of the Consumer Group for Fair Gas Prices, a drop of 6 cents per litre is being predicted for this week.
If true, that drop would be in addition to the 14.4 cent decrease last Saturday morning.
As well, diesel is predicted to drop by 3 cents per litre and the price of heating and stove oil is forecast to decrease by 2.8 cents.
Meanwhile, gas at Costco is selling for less than 75 cents today. The store is also limiting the number of customers in store.
Costco in Galway is busy this morning.
Gas prices are way down below 75 cents.
