A 42-year old man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a police officer in Howley on Tuesday.
Deer Lake RCMP went to Warren Gavin’s home to serve a court document. Police say they were invited inside and while explaining the court order, Gavin became angry and assaulted one of the officers.
He ran upstairs where he was located by police and arrested. He was held in custody pending a court appearance.
