There are no new cases of COVID-19 in the province. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Janice Fitzgerald spoke to media this afternoon.
There are no new cases, but the first presumptive case has now officially been confirmed by the national laboratory in Winnipeg.
Dr. Fitzgerald says all three are in isolation, being monitored by health officials, and are doing well.
Dr. Fitzgerald is going over the importance of speaking with your children.
She says many may be feeling anxious or worried and they need support.

As of today, 684 people in the province have been tested. 681 are negative, and 276 people remain in isolation and are being monitored.
Dr. Fitzgerald had a message for the young and healthy people in the province: adhere to social distancing, even if you’re not feeling any symptoms or illness.
This doesn’t mean avoid all social contact—Dr. Fitzgerald says people need to think about socializing in a new way.
