The regional health authorities are in the process of setting up COVID-19 drive-through assessment clinics across the province.
The parking lot of St. Teresa’s Elementary on Mundy Pond Road is currently blocked to traffic with barricades as trailers are set up outside the school.
Health Minister John Haggie confirmed today that a clinic is already set up in the Labrador-Grenfell region and assessment clinics in the Western and Eastern heath regions should be up and running in the next 24 hours.
Details on how the clinics will work will be released by the regional health authorities, but Minister Haggie says they will require appointments.
