RCMP have blocked off a road in St. Anthony following another polar bear sighting in the town.
Goose Cove Road was blocked off to traffic around mid-day to ensure that people stay clear of the area.
Polar bears are the largest predators in North America and can be surprisingly fast.
Wildlife officials have been called to the scene to assess the situation.
It’s not uncommon for polar bears to wander south at this time of year.
