Drive-through COVID-19 testing clinics are being set up in health regions across the province by appointment only.

Anyone experiencing symptoms of the virus, or who has come in contact with someone who has fever, cough or difficulty breathing, should complete the online self-assessment at www.811healthline.ca before calling the COVID-19 clinic for testing. If you are not seriously ill, do not go to an emergency department or doctor’s office.

Eastern Health has opened a St. John’s clinic, on the parking lot of St. Teresa’s School on Mundy Pond Rd.. It will operate seven days a week from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and will be a drive-through model. Individuals will remain in their vehicles while nurses collect samples.

The Western Health region has two testing sites at the Corner Brook Civic Centre parking lot and the Stephenville Dome.

For anyone who is unable to go to the clinic, other arrangements will be made. Depending on demand, other clinics may be established.
