Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says groceries and goods are continuing to come into the province as they normally would.
She says people need to realize that if there is a chance they may have to isolate themselves, you want to have enough produce, canned goods and such to last two-weeks.
The Chief Medical Officer says chances are you will not have to be in your house for an extended period where you’re unable to get groceries, so hoarding is unnecessary.
She says to some degree it fuels panic and hysteria and people need to be careful of that.
