A long-time four-legged member of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has passed away.
The RNC says police service dog Biff passed away earlier this week at the age of 10.
Biff was trained at the Police Service Dog Training Program in Alberta where he was matched with Constable Jody Ryan.
Constable Ryan and Biff worked together for five years out of the RNC’s office in Corner Brook.
The pair moved to the Northeast Avalon in 2016 and Biff retired in 2017.
