Caul’s Funeral Home is advising the public after someone who attended two visitations and/or funeral services has since tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement, the funeral home says they were contacted by the Department of Health at 1:00 p.m. today to inform them that a person who tested positive for COVID-19 attended the visitations and/or funerals for the late Shannon Fleming and the late Edward Tobin at Caul’s Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road.

It happened at some point on Sunday, March 15th, Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th.

Caul’s says, unfortunately, specific details are not being released and when they asked if they should close the building the Department of Health advised them to stay open.

The Department has advised anyone who came in direct physical contact with individuals on either of those visitations should self-isolate for 14-days and call 811 if feeling ill.
